Aston Cricket Club and Muller Property Group are planning to add to the existing community of Aston through the relocation of the cricket club and an opportunity to broaden and deepen the existing residential offer by the addition of new homes. These proposals will:
Strengthen Aston’s contribution to supporting opportunities for youth and adults to engage in sport, promoting physical activity and social interaction.
Generate employment opportunities through the construction of new homes and cricket club relocation
Support the existing amenities in Aston and strengthen plans to expand the amenity offer
Meet the housing needs of those who live and work in the borough
Boost the local economy and support local jobs and businesses
Deliver a premium community space that will meet a local demand and enable cricket to remain in Aston
Taken together these proposals will make a positive addition to the local community of Aston, creating new and improved sports and recreational facilities within the village and help deliver much needed new homes in the area.
